Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina... * Until 630 PM EDT. * At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms extending from west of Jacksonboro to far lower Charleston County. As much as 3 to 5 inches of rain have fallen in this area this afternoon. An additional 1 to 3 inches could fall through 630 PM, resulting in flash flooding, especially around Jacksonboro. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Hollywood, Ravenel, Meggett, Jacksonboro, Ashepoo, Adams Run, Ritter, Beck Landing, Canady Landing and Parkers Ferry.
